I. Definition of Peace
Peace is a comfortable atmosphere that is free from interference of others, free of hostility, hatred, revenge and all that troublesome behavior of others. Peace to everyone's expectations. 2. Principles of peace
Dr. Yusuf al-Qardhowi in his book "Faith wal hayah" (Faith and Life) outlines several principles that are at the root clump of peace, namely:
1. Among the fruit of the love infused by faith in the hearts and lives of Muslims is the freedom of conscience from the pull strength of envy and jealousy. The light of faith which is the engine of peace or the potential to destroy the seeds of hatred and hostility.
2. A good Muslim does not hold grudges and hostility, because he likes forgiving and generous. He was able to withstand the anger though he came to power, is entitled and able to implement it. The believer does not envy, does not hold grudges, harbored no resentment, because of envy, hatred, and revenge are sown seeds of hatred which the devil, negative seeds that inhibits peaceful. Conversely, brotherhood, togetherness, love and affection as well as clean heart is heavenly garden that leads from God.
3. A good Muslim is more precedence and priority to the interests of his friends, rather than its own purposes. In this connection, the time of the Prophet, the Ansar (original inhabitants of Medina) provide assistance to the relatives of the immigrants so as to create a brotherhood that is very closely based on the soul and the spirit of compassion, and sincerity.
The principles that lead to peace on top of being a source of strength / potency of Islam that is very positive at this time, especially when we are often faced with dilemmas and socio-political realities that disrupt the rhythm of life. المسلم من سلم المسلمون من لسانه ويده

Islam is so beautifully laid the foundations of social life. Once the jelly and anti-sipatif Prophet lead us to the creation of the comforts of life. We must quickly realize that it is impossible to live in the spirit of fomenting hatred and enmity, living far from the spirit of the basic principles of Islam
The Qur'an and the hadith is the basic source of Islamic teachings. The behavior of our lives should not be out or at odds with the teachings of Islam in the above two sources. There is no single verse in the Qur'an and hadith no one else who rekindle the spirit of discord, enmity, antagonism, or any form of behavior negatf, repressive peace threatens the stability and quality of life. As a religion that comes within the framework of a culture of violence and hostility in the Arab community of ignorance, at least the receiving culture of violence, Islam came with the principle of love (mahabbah), togetherness (ijtima'iyyah), equation (Musawah), justice ('is) , and fraternity (ukhuwah), as well as respect for diversity.

Islam is a way of salvation, the spirit of love can melt and reduce hatred and hostility.
